Once
upon a Disco Night,
there was a
Stool of Pants!Poochiness. |

And
a handsome prince sat on the stool of poochiness
|
|
and
ruled over his devoted and loving subjects far and wide.  |
And his subjects SWOONED at the PANTS!!!11!!! |
| And then
one night, the handsome prince wore tight jeans and wiggled
his hips. |
 |
|
The loyal and devoted subjects *thudded* at the sight.
A cry of DTTR! was heard 'round the world. |
And the prince
had big feet.
Really big feet.
|
And
long toes. |
Long arms. Long legs. And long fingers. |
And his subjects assumed long everything. |
But they looked for The Sign.
|
| And his subjects
were very very smart and could crunch numbers, and remembered
an old formula for calculating the length of certain things
using the distance between the thumb and forefinger. And lo
and behold, the prince gave his subjects The Sign. With a
5-1/2" sharpie thrown in for scale. |
|
And the smart and loving subject Frappuccino made some calculations.
|
|
And
some cypherin' was done, and double-checked, and a magic number
came to pass: 8.25. |
And there was much debate across the land.
|
| "No
way!" |
"Yes
way!" |
 |
 |
|
"Wasted
space! Wouldn't fit! Is that parade rest? Is that full glory?
Good gawd! We've hit the lottery!"
|
| There were
many other wonderful discoveries along the way, which enthralled
the masses and made fangirls of all the 40+year-old women
in the land. |

|
 |
Waldo was
a national treasure. |
|
| But
then, one day, the Handsome Prince |
 |
|
was
wearing the Holy Grail of Package Pants |
 |
|
and the
sun was shining and the birds were singing and the angels
were hallelujahing.
And the
subjects felt very blessed and they rejoiced. Baby Jesus
was smiling that day. |
 |
|
|
And from
that point on, the handsome prince's subjects undertook a
mission to attempt to fully understand the phenomenon and
miracle that is Waldo. |

Artistic endeavors
have included photoshopping and poetry.
|
Attending
cloncerts has taken on a seriousness akin to field work -- |

using binoculars,

-- and zoom capabilities. |

to this day, the endeavor continues. And a difficult endeavor
it is, as the devoted and loyal subjects of the handsome prince
have confronted many obstacles - |

basketball
shorts,

long
jackets,
 |
boxer
shorts,
 |
untucked
jerseys,
 |
fashion
disasters,
 |
rearranged
clothing.
 |
But
the handsome prince
|
is also very
good and kind
 |
|
and
offers hope to all - |
going
commando,
 |
wearing
tight low-riders,
 |
painted!on!white!jeans
 |
and
the tucked in jerseys.
 |
